Everything is 30% off at Lands End but what I think is the best deal right now is the women's outerwear, of course that is what I was looking at- enough being cold!!  I ordered 4 coats to try on because you can get a $159 coat for $44 then 30% makes it $30.80.  They have all kinds of coats.  They may not be your first choice of color but $30 for an extremely high quality coat or jacket is amazing.  That's why I ordered 4- so I can try them and anything that I don't want I can return to Sears in Albany (they will always take Land's Ends returns).  If you spend over $50 your shipping is free- another reason to order more than one! : )

Semi Private Swim Lessons at Timberhill Athletic Club

Three darling 5-year olds signed up yesterday for semi-private swim lessons on T/TH at 3pm and two darling 3-year olds (almost 4) signed up for TH at 3pm.  We are looking for one 5-year old (or level 3/4) and 1 or 2 3-year olds (or new swimmers).
Each class is $27 whether there is 1 child, 2, 3 or 4 children so the more we have in a class the cheaper it is (we've heard the instruction is fantastic- we're all trying Timberhill for the first time- me, Julie and Robyn).  The lessons start today however if that's too soon for you, you can join us whenever!
This is a "pay as you go" arrangement.  You simply pay for the classes your child attends.

fabric tablecloths

I just saw the following at Frugal Living NW- fabric tablecloths for 6.30 at Amazon and if you have Amazon Prime you get free shipping!  There are lots of colors to choose from.  I was reading the reviews and was reminded that these would be great to throw over a Thanksgiving table.  If you don't have Amazon Prime, I do and would be happy to order for you.

FYI- I went to buy a brown one and it was $14 something so they are not all $6.30 but still a good deal; there are many prices depending on the color, a bunch for $9.99.

My friend Julie said her husband went to BiMart for a birthday present and got a thirty-something dollar gift for 12 bucks!  I decided to go check it out.  There's an aisle with toys 50% off the green sticker price so we stocked up.  Birthdays, Christmas, toy donations, etc.  If you're interested you should go tonight before they're gone.

corvallis fall festival

Time to mark your calendar for this year's Fall Festival.  We've been twice; it's something my kids ask about all year, making sure not to miss the next one... hence the reason I looked it up. It's held at Central Park and one of the things my kids love the most besides the $1 cotton candy and snow cones the boy scouts sell is the arts and crafts booth.  Tons of wood, glue other miscellaneous art supplies (all free) that kids can use to create, create, create.  Food vendors, craft vendors, etc.
